Welcome to my personal website!
I am a scientist at the School of Environment and Biological Sciences (SEBS), Rutgers University (NJ, USA). I work at the Department of Marine and Coastal Sciences (DMCS) and am a member of Environmental Biophysics and Molecular Ecology Laboratory (EBMEL). I study phytoplankton, photosynthesis, cell signaling and the evolution of life on Earth.
On this website can find information about me, my research and my teaching. You can also view my CV, publications list, and additional material that I will post occasionally. With time, I am planning to update the “protocols” tab with my favorite simple-to-follow lab protocols.
Thank you for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful day,
This coming May I am Co-chairing The 34th Eastern Regional Photosynthesis Conference (ERPC), to be held at the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
In this annually conference, researchers from the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering are brought together to discuss mechanisms of natural photosynthesis and to explore applications of those insights to metabolic engineering, artificial photosynthesis, and renewable energy.
Please come check our website for information on this year’s upcoming conference.
Registration is now open.
